Honey Garlic Chicken Stir-Fry
A flavorful and quick stir-fry featuring tender chicken pieces, colorful bell peppers, and snap peas, all coated in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, sliced into thin strips
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup snap peas
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice for serving
Method
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and ginger to create the sauce.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 min.
- Add the sliced bell peppers and snap peas to the skillet. Stir-fry for an additional 3-4 min until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken and vegetables, stirring to coat everything evenly. Cook for another 2 min.
- Serve the stir-fry over cooked rice.
