Herbed Fish Wraps with Yogurt Sauce
Succulent fish fillets wrapped in soft tortillas, topped with a refreshing yogurt-based sauce and fresh veggies for a delightful meal.
Ingredients
- 500g white fish fillets (e.g., cod or haddock)
- 4 tortillas (whole wheat or your choice)
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 150g plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1 carrot, grated
- Lettuce leaves
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- In a bowl, mix the dried dill, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Rub the mixture over the fish fillets.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the fish fillets for 2-3 min on each side until cooked through.
- While the fish is cooking, prepare the yogurt sauce by mixing the plain yogurt, Dijon mustard, and chopped parsley in a bowl.
- Once the fish is cooked, let it cool slightly, then flake it into large pieces.
- Warm the tortillas in a dry pan or microwave.
- To assemble the wraps, place a tortilla on a flat surface, add lettuce, some flaked fish, cucumber slices, and grated carrot.
- Drizzle with the yogurt sauce before wrapping tightly.
- Serve immediately with extra yogurt sauce on the side.
