This policy explains how we (Nomtogether) handle your personal data when you use our website and join our launch list.

1) Data we collect

• Email sign-ups (current setup): when you click “Join the Launch List”, your email client opens a pre-filled message to us. We receive whatever you send (typically your email address and any info you include). This happens outside our site until we receive your email.
• Future sign-ups (forms/newsletters): if we add an on-site form or email service, we’ll collect your email and any fields you submit (e.g., first name). We’ll update this policy and name the provider.
• Basic technical data: our host may log standard device/request info (IP, browser type, pages viewed) for security and diagnostics.

2) How we use your data

• Send launch updates, early-access invites, and product news you’ve asked for.
• Manage our early-access list, gauge interest, and improve features.
• Keep the site secure and diagnose issues.

3) Our legal bases (UK/EU GDPR)

• Consent: for sending you launch updates/marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Legitimate interests: site security, fraud prevention, basic analytics/diagnostics.
• Contract (future): if you create an account or purchase, we’ll process data needed to provide the service.

4) Sharing & processors

We don’t sell your data. We may share limited data with:

• Service providers: hosting, email delivery, analytics, support tools—only what’s needed, under contract.
• Email platform (future): if/when we use one (e.g., Mailchimp/ConvertKit), your email will be stored there. We’ll update this with the provider’s name and link.
• Legal/safety: where required by law or to protect rights and safety.

5) Cookies

Our Coming Soon page aims to use only essential cookies (if any) needed by WordPress/maintenance tooling. No marketing cookies at this stage. If we add analytics or features that set non-essential cookies, we’ll update this policy and (if required) use a consent banner.

6) How long we keep data

• Emails you send us: kept until you ask us to delete them or we no longer need them for the purpose collected.
• Newsletter/launch list (future): kept until you unsubscribe or we remove inactive contacts.
• Server logs: kept briefly for security/troubleshooting, then deleted or anonymised.

7) Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data (HTTPS, limited access, up-to-date software). No method is 100% secure, but we work to keep risk low.

8) Your rights (UK/EU)

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and object to certain processing. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it anytime.

• Unsubscribe: reply to any email with “unsubscribe”, or email admin@nomtogether0564.live-website.com.
• Data requests: email us with the subject “Privacy request”. We may need to verify your identity.
• Complaints: you can complain to the UK ICO (ico.org.uk) or your local authority.

9) Children’s privacy

Our site is intended for parents/adults. We don’t knowingly collect data from children under 13 (UK). If a child has provided data, contact us and we’ll delete it.

10) International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the UK/EU. Where this happens, we use safeguards required by law (e.g., adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses).

11) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as we grow. We’ll change the “Last updated” date and, if changes are significant, we’ll let you know.
