Spicy Chicken Stir-Fry
A quick and flavorful stir-fry featuring tender chicken and vibrant vegetables, perfect for a family meal.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 zucchini, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5 min.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger, stirring for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the bell pepper, zucchini, and broccoli to the skillet, stir-frying for about 3-4 min until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Pour in the soy sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using), stirring to coat the chicken and vegetables evenly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, optionally over rice or noodles.
