Chocolate Kheer (Indian Rice Pudding)
A rich and creamy Indian dessert made with rice, milk, and dark chocolate, flavored with cardamom and garnished with nuts for a delightful finish.
Ingredients
- 100g basmati rice
- 1 liter whole milk
- 100g dark chocolate (minimum 70% cocoa), chopped
- 100g sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 50g mixed nuts (such as almonds and pistachios), chopped
- A pinch of salt
Method
- Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then soak it in water for 30 min.
