Vegetable Stir-Fry with Tofu
A colorful and nutritious vegetable stir-fry featuring crispy tofu, packed with flavors and easy to prepare, perfect for the family dinner.
Ingredients
- 14 oz firm tofu, drained and pressed
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 zucchini, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup snap peas
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch fresh ginger, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Method
- Cut the tofu into cubes and marinate in soy sauce for 10 min.
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated tofu and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 min.
- Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and ginger, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add bell pepper, zucchini, broccoli, and snap peas, stir-frying for 5-7 min until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the tofu to the skillet and mix well with the vegetables.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to substitute any of the vegetables based on preference or availability.
